The LAB Mixing Unit increases the ratio of dissolution of gases into liquids during the preparation of calibration standards for Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA), according to the IEC 60567 requirements “Oil-filled electrical equipment – Sampling of gases and analysis of free and dissolved gases- Guidance”. In fact following the IEC 60567, gas-in-oil standards (GIO-standard) shall be prepared in glass syringes with a degassed oil.

A known quantity of gas standard is injected into the oil already contained in a syringe. The dissolution of gas bubbles requires a constant mixing of the syringe. This operation is extremely time consuming if performed manually. Mixing Unit is an apparatus designed to mix syringes by automatic rotary movement. It can mix up to 8 syringes at the same time. This apparatus is composed by a rotating shaft equipped with 8 clamps to hold syringes or any other compatible glassware therefore it can used as mixer for any other chemicals.

The Lab Degassing Unit is a stainless steel vessel that allows to degas up to 5 liters of fluid at a pressure of around 10 mbar by a vacuum pump (the unit maintains vacuum conditions for several hours after the degassing process).
Through dedicated valves, vacuum can be broken blowing an inert gas in; subsequently the treated liquid sample can be directly sampled from the bottom by a syringe.

Due to its steel construction, all operations are performed safely, without any risk for the operators deriving from the breakage of a typical glass vessels.
Process parameters (temperature and vacuum level) can be continuously monitored by means of specific sensors (optional).
This apparatus is meant to optimize the degassing process during the preparation of gas in oil standards for Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) according to IEC 60567 (Ed 4.0 2011-10) – “Oil-filled electrical equipment – Sampling of gases and analysis of free and dissolved gases- Guidance.”
The Lab Degassing Unit is also suitable to perform other degassing processes on different fluids (e.g. R&D applications).

Revolving Table is a tool designed to optimize and simplify the preparation of insulating oil samples for the analysis of Dissolved Gases (DGA) with the headspace gas chromatography technique. Developed and validated by Sea Marconi since 1999, the Revolving Table is currently used with satisfaction by numerous laboratories on an international scale for routine work.

The instrument is essentially composed of a rotating drum equipped with 28 seats for 20 ml headspace vials, combined with the relative hermetic closure cap.

Revolving table allows to condition up to 28 vials (vials) under inert gas (Argon) with controlled flow, and to introduce the oil sample without atmospheric contamination (oxygen, nitrogen, CO2, humidity, dust, etc.). The operations of dosing the sample, positioning the sealing cap and closing the vial (always under inert gas) are made easy and fast by the electronic crimper and the transparent plexiglass that facilitates every operation.

The system operates in a controlled regime for the use and repetitiveness of sample preparation thanks to the identification of the test tube, the monitoring of the internal pressure, the internal and external temperature of the system and thanks to the control of the inert gas flow (Argon).
