In view of the great sensibility and daily engagement by Sea Marconi on subjects such as science, technologies and innovation, it is a pride to offer our services to CERN of Geneva as well.

CERN of Geneva is the largest world laboratory for the physics of particles, but not only. In 1989, in these laboratories, the World Wide Web – w.w.w. was born. At CERN, researches on the origin of matter are performed using gigantic instrumentations studying the effect of collisions among particles. This equipment requires an considerable amount of energy, thus power transformers with insulating liquids are necessary, creating the need for a correct management.

Sea Marconi offers to CERN its protection program for strategic equipment with insulating liquids GreenPro Transfo and in particular, the analysis and diagnostic services for the prevention of damages (Deosvision) and the services for the physical-chemical decontamination for the protection of assets (Chedcos), returning the oil and the equipment to optimised conditions, in compliance with norms IEC 60422 Ed. 3 2005, etc. Currently, our technicians are engaged specifically in the high voltage sub-stations and the electric cabins supplying the famous accelerator, a 27km long ring, into which the iper-collisions of particles occur.
