Cristina Tumiatti, commercial and marketing director of Sea Marconi Technologies, is the new president of the group of Young Entrepreneurs of the Industrial Union of Turin. The proclamation took place yesterday, 28th May 2013, during the annual assembly of the Turinese young entrepreneurs.
Among the objectives of the newly elected, who shall hold the position until 2016, is to realise the experiences occurred during the triennium, developing an inter-university education path on entrepreneurship. Also, the president shall continue the inter-associative table “Yes4TO” grouping thirteen associations of under-40 entrepreneurs, managers and professionals of Turin and Aosta. A constant attention, moreover, shall be dedicated to the problems relative to the employment of young people.
The president is in favour of a generational pact, envisaging an exchange between the employment of a senior person and a youngster, especially in the form of apprenticeships.
Cristina Tumiatti, daughter of Vander Tumiatti, founder and current main partner, represents the new generation. She continues with consistency the original pattern: international vision, dedication, competence and passion to always innovate to be the first on the market and to strongly maintain the leadership conquered.

NBorn in Turin on 13thr January 1974 she achieved the scientific A-level in 1993, after spending one year (the forth grade) at the Lincoln High School of Sioux Falls, SD (USA): this experience – which she suggests to all students – has been the beginning of an personal and professional education going on nowadays. She graduated in Company Economy in 2001 at the LIUC of Castellanza, the only university at that time in Italy to provide a curriculum focused on the management of Small/medium Companies.
In 1998 she had a stage in International Management with the Soybean Missouri Association of Jefferson City (MO, USA), and upon her return in 1999 another stage with Martini & Bacardi in Turin, again in Marketing. At the end of 1999 she enters the family business, Sea Marconi Technologies sas of Collegno, taking care at first of international marketing and later becoming the commercial and marketing director. During her first years of work in the company, her activity was dedicated to new markets, with the opening of operations in France (2002), Spain (2002), Argentina (2004) and Germany (2009), which shortly achieved brilliant commercial results, obtaining framework contracts, often multi-annual, with large companies such as Endesa, EDF, Total, SNCF, Adif, confirming the market leader role by Sea Marconi.
At the same time, to enrich her competences, she obtained in 2005 a Master in Business Administration PT with the SAA. Enrolled in 2003 with the Group of Young Entrepreneurs she became councillor in 2007. In 2009 she became the mother of Matteo, meeting with determination her different roles as a woman, mother and entrepreneur. She is very fond of cooking, an avid reader and lower of history. Deeply involved on the line of the associative activity, her motto is: “Italy must restart at once and it must restart from the enterprises: let’s be entrepreneurs”.
