Brilliant depolarization in Colombia runs ever faster on the grapevine, generating new opportunities

Wednesday April 23rd, 2014

L’eco The echo generated by the depolarisation from corrosive sulfur carried out last year on 5 transformers (170 tons of oil) at the Urrà power station is arousing considerable interest amongst owners of fleets of electric machines in Colombia.

It is not by chance that major projects (e.g. Cali, Medellin, Bogotà) are taking life with the main public and private companies and utilities for management of up to 500 KV machines. The activities that are gradually being defined comprise analysis and diagnostics for failure prevention and integrated on-site treatments to re-establish the conditions of health of oil and transformers of Colombian energy networks.

These business opportunities represent a further step towards Latin America; furthermore, from May 29 to 30 2014, Sea Marconi will participate as speaker at the SIGAT CIER 2014 conference at Cartagena in Colombia. In particular, Vander Tumiatti is scheduled to speak on May 29 at 10 a.m. and on May 30 at 9.30 a.m. with two presentations entitled “Inventario, especificaciones, diseño y FATs, en equipos inductivos.” and “Loss prevention – Life Cycle Management of Oils & Transformers (LCM-O&T)”.
