The last two Round Robin Tests – RRT (the inter-laboratory tests performed to evaluate the technical competency of the laboratories) in which Sea Marconi participated, revealed, once again, such a professionalism and a competence to set our laboratory among the first ones at international level.
Recently, Sea Marconi participated to two RRTs:
- the first organised by Labelec (Portugal) confronting 9 laboratories, relative to the DP test for papers (please refer to RRT2 here below);
- the second organised by ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) proposed to 76 laboratories the analysis of a series of parameters on new dielectric fluids (please refer to RRT 2 here below)
The RRTs, also designated as Proficiency Tests, are an instrument ensuring the quality of the laboratories and the analytical results issued. At the end of each RRT, an evaluation is issued, using a point system designated as “Z score”. The nearest this number is to zero, the more positive the work by the laboratory is.
To summarise, I emphasise that during both RRTs, Sea Marconi provided a great proof of strength, receiving excellence scores both in absolute terms and in comparison with laboratories worldwide.
