On 1st and 2nd December, in Mexico City, Vander Tumiatti participated to the workshop tilted “Taller Internacional de Sistemas de Gestion y de Tecnologias de Destuccion de Bifenilos Policlorados” (International Workshop on systems for the management and technologies for the elimination of PCBs).
The Mexican Ministry of the Environment, within the UNPD 00059701 project, requested the participation by Sea Marconi in view of the four decade experience in managing the life cycle of electrical equipment with insulating liquids contaminated by PCBs. It is noted that such equipment is typically used for the generation, transportation, distribution and use of electric power.
The event has been organised by the Secretariat of Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales SEMARNAT, within the network of institutional organisation such as UNDP (the UN development program), PEN (PCB Elimination Network), GEF and the Convention of Stockholm (click here for more info).
During the meeting, the best available technique for the inventory, management decontamination and/or elimination of PCBs were illustrated. Sea Marconi continues surprising the world with its innovative, effective and “environmentally friendly” solutions.
