The enjoyable anticipations published by the daily LA STAMPA during the last weeks and at the Chamber of Commerce of Turin (OPEN INNOVATION), finally ended in the key moment event at the International Exhibition of Books of Turin. In fact, yesterday 20th May 2013, the 26th edition of the exhibition ended with a great success, not only for the record attendance, but also for the presentation of the book “IMPRESE D’AUTORE – OUTSTANDING ENTERPRISES” that includes 12 stories written by 12 Piedmontese authors about 12 Small/Medium Enterprises in the Turinese territory (including Sea Marconi) picked-up for their innovations.
This brilliant initiative is the result of the collaboration between the Chamber of Commerce of Turin, the Human Plus Foundation and the Polytechnic of Turin. The idea, courageous and original, is to narrate as a novel 12 small/medium enterprises involved with a business totally obscure outside their domains. To join two worlds typically opposite such as science and literature was a winning choice: the result, as it can be confirmed by whoever has the chance to read the book, was a great success.The merit is deserved, obviously, by the 12 great writers *, who were able to describe the companies bringing the reader inside them in an enthusiastic, thrilling, and captivating manner, without trivialising that technological excellency holding our Country in high regard. The book, co-published by La Stampa, shall be available at the stand of the Chamber of Commerce and sold by the bookstore of La Stampa and the web site.
