After one year from the trip by Mr Tumiatti to Mongolia, and almost two years from the visit by the Mongolian delegation to Sea Marconi, the path toward the acquisition of the know-how on the subject of management of PCBs continues a well as the attainment of the specific competences for the operation of an analysis laboratory. Sea Marconi stated the coaching of the operators designated by the Mongolian authorities; this, in particular, involved various activities including the provision of technical specifications for the procurement of laboratory instrumentations complying with the prescriptions of norm IEC 61619 “Insulating liquids – Contamination by polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) – Method of determination by capillary column gas chromatography”.
In April 2012, the manager of Sea Marconi’s laboratory – doct. Riccardo Maina *, went to Mongolia for an entire series of delicate activities, among them: the instrumental set-up, the calibration and validation of the method, comparative tests and, naturally, the training of local personnel, with which a remote assistance service is operational.
Sea Marconi is a leader in the activity for the analysis and diagnosis of insulating oils. The company operates under a Quality system (UNI EN ISO 9001) and its laboratory is accredited with international validity (ACCREDIA, lab. 0899) also for tests on PCBs.
