The installation of the first Haloclean® BioEnergy industrial scale plant is reaching its completion. Beginning of operations are expected in May in Germany.Through a proprietary pyrolysis process this first unit will treat heterogeneous biomass to produce renewable intermediate fuels (oil and gas) for heat and power generation…
The main advantage of this technical solution is a high flexibility in terms of both feedstock material and use of the outcoming energy carriers.
With its 12,000 ton/year capacity this unit will be capable of producing fuels for a production of 1-3 MW electric (depending on biomass type).
The use of the fuels will be in part for onsite power generation, partially to be transported to other sites for the same application.
