With the visit to Sea Marconi (at 4.30pm on March 22, 2023), the the two-day visit “Exploring Italy’s Bioeconomy Together” by the Irish Bioeconomy Foundation organized by Cluster Spring, comes to a close. The Italy-Ireland exchange follows the Memorandum of Understanding signed on October 4, 2019, between IBF and Cluster SPRING, and the visit of the Italian Cluster SPRING to bioeconomy sites in Ireland in May 2022.
During the visit, Sea Marconi illustrated its peculiarities of innovation, sustainability, and industrial development both in relation to its core business (supporting the management of electrical equipment with insulating fluids) and, above all, in relation to research and innovation projects, with a particular focus on BIOENPRO4TO.
The meeting, attended by the mayor of Collegno, Francesco Casciano, concluded with a symbolic commitment by all to develop a joint bioeconomy strategy starting from the Collegno community.
