Tra Amongst the activities performed at the end of 2014 that we haven’t yet mentioned, we are proud to note the important role played by Sea Marconi in South America, and in particular in Columbia.
In September 2014, CIDET sent Sea Marconi a request for consultation and training for the implementation of the Stockholm Convention in Colombia. Vander Tumiatti went to Bogotà, Barranquilla and Medellin and illustrated international IEC standards and the EUROPEAN CLC/TR 50503 standard to local industry operators, relative to inventory activities and the control and management of devices containing PCBs and other hazardous chemical substances.
About one month later, 14-17 October 2014, Sea Marconi was once again invited to Colombia, in Cali, to share its experience as part of a national workshop organised by the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme). The international leadership and recognition of Sea Marconi as a holder of knowledge in the field of PCB management is therefore once again confirmed.
