Sea Marconi for Smart Cities, scientific cooperation with the University of Bologna

On 19th December 2012, Sea Marconi participated to the presentation of the new Dipartimento Department of Sciences for Life Quality Studies – QUVI. The new department, located in Rimini, originates from the Alma Mater University of Bologna, the oldest university in history.The inauguration event started the scientific collaboration between Sea Marconi and the new Department, which within the Smart Cities and Smart Farms projects, has as objective the study of new factors for the growth of plants.

The project is designated with the name SmartTooBio and involves a cultivation in intensified and integrated greenhouses, also under extreme climatic conditions, using functionalised nanosponges – NFS capable of holding and carrying micronutrients and natural growing factors.
